When the first paper volume of Donald Knuth's The Art of Computer Programming was published in 1968,[4] it was typeset using hot metal typesetting set by a Monotype Corporation typecaster. This method, dating back to the 19th century, produced a "good classic style" appreciated by Knuth.

Trusting God Through the Seasons of Life

Memory Verse

2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word. Be ready to serve God in all seasons. Correct, encourage, be patient.

This week we’d like to encourage you to MEMORIZE the verse and hide it deep in your heart. That is what God’s word says for us to do.

This means spending a few minutes each day reading the verse out loud and then repeating it over and over until you have it memorized. By the third day, you should be able to say most of the verse without even looking!

2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word. Be ready to serve God in all seasons. Correct, encourage, be patient.

In life we go through seasons, sometimes it's hard to trust God through those seasons. When we don't understand what we're going through, or we just don't see God's plan through the storm we're experiencing. This verse reminds us to serve Him in ALL seasons. We need to share God's love with those around us. Whether that be in our words, actions, or prayer. God is always there for us, and we must be ready to encourage those around us with God's love no matter what we're going through. Be patient in this season of your life, God has it all figured out.

Wherever you go today, whatever you do, and whoever you meet, try to be an encouraging witness for God. Whatever you accomplish or fulfill, give God the credit for allowing you the skills, gifts, and time to achieve your goals. In everything, give glory to God. In all that you are, glorify Him today.

Every morning I have my Coffee with God. I drink from my Coffee with God Ceramic Mug, I read my devotional, write in my prayer journal, and spend time with my Lord and Savior.
