When the first paper volume of Donald Knuth's The Art of Computer Programming was published in 1968,[4] it was typeset using hot metal typesetting set by a Monotype Corporation typecaster. This method, dating back to the 19th century, produced a "good classic style" appreciated by Knuth.

Have You Been Set Free?

Let Freedom Ring

As we bring July to a close, our nation’s annual month of celebration for our independence and freedom is still in the air. And, still being heard nightly in my neighborhood!

I am sure you have read stories of our nation’s past. All the horrible things that were done to the least of these and, if you are like me, wonder how humanity can be so cruel.

Who would think it’s okay to keep another human being under their control?

Physically and emotionally harming that individual to make them feel less than?

I just don’t get it! And, honestly, it makes my heart hurt just thinking about it. Instead, I turn my thoughts to Jesus. He died so that I can live in complete FREEDOM.

FREEDOM in my thoughts.

FREEDOM in my actions.

FREEDOM from sin and self-destruction.

And FREEDOM from the devil that attempts to take me out around every corner.

Galatians 5:1 says,

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

Are you allowing yourself to be a slave to society?

.

To what others think about you?

.

To what others say you should be or do?

.

To the doubts that creep in?

.

To the untrue whispers about you?

Just like we celebrate July 4th as a day to stand on for our nation’s independence and freedom, you can use God’s truth in His Word, Galatians 5:1, to STAND ON the freedom you have in Christ. Boldly declare your freedom today and every day that you are given.

I love to express my faith and freedom by wearing by Genuine Leather & Hemp Cross Bracelet, it stands a consistent reminder of the freedom that I have in Christ.
