Where Will You Run?

Memory Verse

Psalm 9:9 The Lord is a place of safety for those who have been treated badly. He keeps them safe in times of trouble.

This week we’d like to encourage you to MEMORIZE the verse and hide it deep in your heart. That is what God’s word says for us to do.

This means spending a few minutes each day reading the verse out loud and then repeating it over and over until you have it memorized. By the third day, you should be able to say most of the verse without even looking!

Psalm 9:9 The Lord is a place of safety for those who have been treated badly. He keeps them safe in times of trouble.

One product you can use while reading your bible and memorizing your verses is our Magnetic Bookmark. Large magnetic bookmarks keep your place in that favorite book or bible.  This bookmark makes a great gift to lift up and inspire that special someone!

One thing is certain in life: trouble will come. When (not if) it comes, where will you run? You will run somewhere; you will seek a place of safety. This verse teaches us that in oppression and times of trouble, God is a sure place of safety. We see people running to a wide array of safe places seeking refuge, but we come to see that these places are never strong enough. They let us down; they crumble as we seek protection within their gates. God alone is King, and God alone can protect us from whatever it is we face.

When the world around us is shaking, and it will shake, our God is sovereign. I encourage you to run to Him and allow Him to carry you on His shoulders. His arms are always open. Live Scripture Strong!
