Why Do We Celebrate?

Memory Verse

Luke 2:11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

This week we’d like to encourage you to MEMORIZE the verse and hide it deep in your heart. That is what God’s word says for us to do.

This means spending a few minutes each day reading the verse out loud and then repeating it over and over until you have it memorized. By the third day, you should be able to say most of the verse without even looking!

Luke 2:11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

With Christmas just a few days away, I know your life is busy and asking you to memorize a Scripture verse seems a little overwhelming!

This verse is one that will remind you why you are celebrating with your family this week. The reason we have this "holiday." I hope you take the time to recognize all that was sacrificed for you to get to be where you are standing today.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. Hide these words in your heart and Live Scripture Strong!
